Hello all!

It's been a long time coming, but Mojang has finally come out with the release date of 1.7 which is Friday, 25th of October. However, this DOES NOT mean the server will be updated to 1.7 on this date, and could take a considerably long time depending on many key factors. Here is everything you need to know:

Updating

The server will not update as soon as Mojang releases 1.7. You are still able to play on the server while we haven't updated by doing the following:

1. Open the Minecraft Launcher and click "New Profile" in the bottom right corner.
2. Change the profile name to "1.6.4"
3. Find where it says "Use Version" and select "release 1.6.4" from the drop down menu.
4. Press "Save Profile." Select "1.6.4" from the drop down menu in the bottom right corner, then hit play!

When we update, you will be notified via the website.

Map Wipe

Here is a complete rundown on what will be reset and what will be kept in the map wipe.

• The current map will be reset.
• Nether and The End will also be reset. (End will be reset weekly again.)
• Balances will be reset to $1000.
• McMMO will be reset.
• Inventories will be reset.
• Enderchests will be reset.
  
• /chest will be reset.
• You will need to recreate your faction and invite your members again.
• Donor ranks and perks will be kept.
• Any items received with donor ranks (including spawners) will be refunded in the new map.
• Donors will be able to request a new shop.

What’s new about the 1.7 update?

There are heaps of new things packed into the new 1.7 update. If you’re interested you can see the Mojang blog post detailing all the new features in the 1.7 update.

What’s new about the server?

Here is a list of all the new things that is coming to the server when the 1.7 update hits:

• New builds!
• Better spawn exiting system.
• No more spawn killing.
• More arenas.
• More PvP gamemodes.
• More events and tournaments (with prizes!)
• Better random teleportation.
• Stats and leaderboards.
• The End will reset weekly, every Sunday at about 6:30pm.
• More items in the market.

The Build Competition

The build competition is now over to prepare for the 1.7 update.Your builds have been saved.

Farewell day

The last day before the Map Wipe will be an awesome event with many events being hosted. Be sure to be there and say a goodbye to the old map. If you have a favourite and enjoyable moment from the old map be sure to post your stories here.
