Upgrade Complete!

It may have taken a while, for several reasons, but Prison is now running on Minecraft 1.9.

Due to the update, there are several minor issues with the server, but they should be sorted out soon. In the meantime, if you come across anything that may be broken, please report it to me and I shall see about fixing it.

Here are answers to some questions you may have about the update:

Is the end still disabled?

Yes it is, and it is not likely to be enabled in the forseeable future. It may be used in future projects, though.

Then how will I be able to get the new elytra wings?

Elytra wings are not a necessity for Prison, and as such will not be available at this point in time.

What about all the other new End items?

Some of them shall be added to the shop at /warp plots soon.

Why is there so much lag?

1.9 is still new, and as such, will still be a bit laggy. It should get better in time.

Why is the PvP in 1.9 so bad?

Don't ask me, I didn't plan or program it.

Why has my redstone in the plot world stopped working?

If this is the case, it may be due to changes in the way redstone works, or that the server has automatically disabled it because of performance issues.
